UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS JURNAL NASIONAL TERAKREDITASI: Telaah atas HIKMAH Journal of Islamic Studies

Abstract

he purpose of this article is to analyze and uncover the understanding of improving
the quality of accredited national journals, inventory the factors that affect the
improvement or decline of the quality of accredited national journals, and find
concrete steps and precise strategies to improve the quality of accredited national
journals with a focus on HIKMAH Journal of Islamic Studies.
In the increasingly evolving information era, the quality of scientific publications has
become very important to improve the reputation and credibility of journals. The
methods used in this study include observation of the editorial and publication
process, interviews with journal managers, and qualitative and quantitative data
analysis. The results show that there are several factors that affect the quality of
journals, including effective editorial management, selection of quality articles, and
the application of publication ethical standards. In addition, efforts to improve
quality through training for writers and editors have also proven significant. This
article is expected to provide recommendations for other journal managers in an
effort to improve the quality and accreditation of national journals.
