INTEGRASI TEORI ORGANISASI STRUKTURAL MODERN DAN PEMIKIRAN ISLAM KLASIK DALAM MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract


Abstract

This research examines the relationship between modern structural organization theory and classical Islamic thought, with a focus on the integration of efficient management principles. Modern organizational theory, including Max Weber's bureaucratic theory, Henri Fayol's administrative management, Frederick Taylor's scientific management, and systems and network theory, has been widely applied to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness in various sectors. This research aims to combine these principles with Islamic values contained in the thoughts of classical Muslim scholars such as Al-Mawardi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Khaldun, and Al-Ghazali, in order to produce a more holistic and applicable Islamic education management model. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytic qualitative approach, which identifies similarities and synergies between the two perspectives. The research results show that the integration of modern organizational theory and Islamic values can create more inclusive, responsive and just management of Islamic educational institutions, as well as strengthen the sustainability and effectiveness of educational organizations in the future. This research provides practical implications for Islamic educational institutions in efforts to improve the quality of education and create a more meaningful learning environment.

 

Abstrak

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara teori organisasi struktural modern dan pemikiran klasik Islam, dengan fokus pada integrasi prinsip-prinsip manajemen yang efisien. Teori organisasi modern, termasuk teori birokrasi Max Weber, manajemen administratif Henri Fayol, manajemen ilmiah Frederick Taylor, serta teori sistem dan jaringan, telah diterapkan secara luas untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas organisasi di berbagai sektor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggabungkan prinsip-prinsip tersebut dengan nilai-nilai Islam yang terkandung dalam pemikiran cendekiawan Muslim klasik seperti Al-Mawardi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Khaldun, dan Al-Ghazali, guna menghasilkan model manajemen pendidikan Islam yang lebih holistik dan aplikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitik, yang mengidentifikasi kesamaan dan sinergi antara kedua perspektif tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teori organisasi modern dan nilai-nilai Islam dapat menciptakan pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang lebih inklusif, responsif, dan berkeadilan, serta memperkuat keberlanjutan dan efektivitas organisasi pendidikan di masa depan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih bermakna.
