MODEL PENGELOLAAN GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN DI SD KHALIFAH KRUKUT KOTA DEPOK

Abstract


In general, this research uses a qualitative case study method, the data of which is obtained from the analysis of documentation, interviews and observations. As for the collected data, content analysis was carried out thematically including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the results of this study are as follows: This study found several research results, namely the teacher management model is carried out through the stages of activities, namely, needs analysis, recruitment (selection), orientation and debriefing, assignments, invevice training, coaching and assessment, while teacher performance is measured and assessed through supervision activities, academic and non-academic activities once in each semester, learning program planning is carried out at the beginning of the learning year through teacher meeting activities. Based on the results of an evaluation of teacher management at SD Khalifah Krukut Depok which is programmed,systematic, holistic and integrated through supervision activities, including training, work shops, or guidance and control which in fact can improve the quality of learning at SD Khalifah Krukut Depok. Obstacles faced by teachers in improving the quality of learning at SD Khalifah Krukut Depok, include: lack of support for infrastructure, competence and motivation of teachers who are not yet qualified, work ethic (hard work) which is still lacking and the lack of teacher professionalism development activities by experts in field. Several solutions that have been made by teachers in dealing with obstacles are participating in various internal and external seminars, conducting group discussions and peer teaching as an effort to provide mutual input in improving teaching in class.
